COVID-19 Policy/Procedures Update
Due to the recent mandate from San Mateo County and recommendations from the California Optometric Association, we have decided to shut down all non-essential services at Foster City Eye Care. We are trying to do our part to stop the spread of COVID-19.
Services that will be still available day by day in limited hours (9:00am – 12:00pm Mon-Sat)
- 1. Medical eye emergencies (red-eye, eye infections, styes, contact lens-related problems) by appointment only. Email info@fostercityeyecare.com or text (650) 573-6245
- Dispensing of current orders of glasses or contact lenses by appointment only. Email info@fostercityeyecare.com or text (650) 573-6245
- Phone services 9:00am to 12:00pm (Mon-Sat) (650) 573-6245
- Direct shipping of contact lens orders. Email info@fostercityeyecare.com or text (650) 573-6245 to order. We will extend prescriptions expired within 6 months.
All routine eye exam appointments scheduled in the next 3 weeks will be canceled. We will reach out to you to reschedule.
It was a very difficult decision to shut down as a healthcare provider and a small business. However, the safety of our staff, patients and the greater community is at stake here. We hope that together we can fight this pandemic and emerge on the other side healthy. We look forward to servicing you soon.
